Popcorn Bay,Spagna
Popcorn Bay is an incredible beach located just a short distance from Corralejo, the island town of Fuerteventura, in the Canaries. The unique characteristic of this beach is the strip of coastline that seems to be completely covered by a huge and very white layer of soft popcorn.
The beach is also known as "Popcorn Beach" and though it may seem like a very common beach from a distance, when you approach it, it is impossible not to immediately notice the unusual shape of its sand. The beach is actually composed as small fragments of white coral which come from the nearby cliff and curiously turned them into small grains which look very similar to popcorn.
The beach, now famous for the particularity of its coral sand, has become a popular tourist attraction, especially beloved by travel bloggers who armed with smartphones who increase by the numbers to immortalize the fun and unique phenomenon of the popcorn covered beach.
