Canouan, the most exclusive island in the Caribbean

Canouan is a small island in the Grenadines archipelago just in the heart of the Caribbean Sea and is known as a true heaven on earth. It is an exclusive destination with plenty of VIP guests including royalty, and isn’t very popular among mass tourism. The island is surrounded by wild, untouched nature and is made up of white sandy beaches bathed by calm and crystalline waters of unparalleled beauty. Covered by lush vegetation that surround elegant villas and luxurious resorts, the Canouan Island also boasts a coral reef that stretches for over a mile. The sea is perfect for snorkeling and diving as it is rich in marine life with an infinite variety of corals.

This luxurious strip of land has been inhabited since the 2 BC by indigenous people of South America. It extends about 3 miles², a length of about 2 miles. Today it has about 1200 inhabitants of Afro-Caribbean origin. Loved by members of the British royal family, by Bill Gates and many other famous people, Canouan Island was also once nicknamed "Trump Island", for its "Trump International Golf Course", one of the most spectacular golf courses in the world and part of the luxurious Raffles Resort complex.

Nothing is left to chance on Canouan Island and this is evident in the quality (and price) of even the martini ordered, which once cost nearly $300! The attention to detail and the refinement of the structures overlooking the beautiful bays lined with luxury yachts make it difficult to find the perfect harmony between elegance and wild nature anywhere else. The island is easily accessible from Barbados, from there a 45-minute flight aboard private jets is provided by the resorts themselves. Thanks to the new "Sandy Lane Yacht Club" marina, capable of accommodating 120 boats up to 100 meters long, you can comfortably land on the island by renting a yacht from one of the on-site agencies.
