Keukenhof, the largest tulip park in the world

The Dutch Keukenhof Park is an immense and extraordinary garden located near Lisse, about 35 km from Amsterdam. This tulip park boasts over 7 million bulbs, with 800 varieties of tulips spread over 32 hectares of land. It is considered the largest bulb flower park in the world and one of the most beautiful flower gardens in Europe. The park was officially inaugurated in 1949, but its origins date back to the 15th century when it was used as a vegetable garden to grow products for the kitchen of the Teylingen Castle.
