When Spring arrives and the temperatures start to rise, glaciers from the surrounding area begin to melt and the water then penetrates into the ground and flows into the basin below, thus creating the Green Lake, a real “seasonal” lake. During these months, the lake can reach a maximum depth of 12 meters with cold temperatures ranging between 40 – 46°F.

The lake reaches its peak in June, and it is truly a wonderful sight! Visitors can dive and swim among the trees, benches, paths and bridges, caressing the green grass of the lawn below you and the underwater blossomed flowers. The light which enters the water creates a playful and stunning atmosphere.
