Chihuly Garden and Glass, Seattle's museum of wonders

The Chihuly Garden and Glass is a garden-museum, where nature and the blown glass sculptures of the famous artist Dale Chihuly give life to a wonderful and unique botanical garden. A magical place located inside the Seattle Center, right at the foot of the Space Needle building in Seattle, the largest city in Washington State. It is a permanent exhibition, a celebration of nature mixed with splendid works created by an extraordinary creative genius.

The museum is made up of eight rooms and houses an immense number of refined glass sculptures that recreate trees, flowers, branches and leaves in ragged colors and the most extravagant shapes. It is a triumph of sinuous movement and breathtaking beauty, a true immersion into the magical world of the supreme glass art. Dale Chihuly was the first American to undertake the craft of glass blowing at the famous Venini workshop in Murano, Italy. His works are scattered all over the world, mainly in the Louvre, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, in the Tower of David in Jerusalem, in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and then in Mexico, Filandia, San Francisco, Chicago and of course in Venice. Walking in this garden allows you to appreciate the mysterious and complex charm of a centuries-old knowledge, the art and visionary talent of its masterful creator.

The Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibition itinerary begins in a completely dark room, transporting the visitor into an imaginary world illuminated by the colorful and sparkling lights of the sculptures that praise nature. The visit continues to the greenhouse, where elements blend together in an apparent game of movement, and then to the outdoor garden where the works come to life by integrating into the natural landscape. This is a must see place that deserves an in person visit, a unique and amazing universe that no image or word will ever fully be able to describe.
